ABOUT ME

M.L. Garza comes from a proud family line of authors and artists and has been making up adventures since she was old enough to talk. Growing up in the backwoods of Massachusetts, she devoured every book she could find, from Tolkien to Kipling to Asimov. These and many other authors of speculative fiction remain her greatest influences to this day. After graduating from high school in 2003, she attended the University of Massachusetts and achieved a degree in Chinese language and literature in 2007. Following a short term as a middle school teacher, she enlisted in the United States Navy in 2009 and found herself stationed in beautiful Hawaii.

She plays with computers for a living and loses herself in other worlds during her time off. When not huddled in her writing cave, she can be found on the beautiful shores of the beach, a cup of tea always in hand. She lives on the island of Oahu with her husband and three four-legged children. M.L. Garza is an author and ghostwriter of novels, short stories, and flash fiction, as well as a successful screenwriter with her work appearing with Left Hand Publishers, Eyedrum Periodically, Hydra Productions and produced by Ventureway Entertainment.
